A PLACE WITHIN IS CURRENTLY OFFERING BOTH TELE-HEALTH THERAPY AS WELL AS IN-OFFICE THERAPY.
Due to the severity of COVID-19, this office will institute the following mandatory policies as a means of prevention and ensuring public health. Please read this a few days before your session. If you have any questions please ask as soon as possible.
For in office sessions, the following protocols will be required to contribute to the health and safety of staff and clients. If you are uncomfortable with any procedure please note that tele-health treatment is also being offered to accommodate your preferences.
Everyone must wash their hands immediately before entering the office, hand washing is to follow health guidelines of washing for at least 20 seconds.
Everyone must wash their hands immediately after leaving the office, following the same health guidelines.
Hand washing is especially important for sand sessions. Please note that hand washing is required directly after your sand tray is complete in order to protect your health. Sand items may not be disinfected after every use.
Waiting Room: Due to the small size of the office space and the cleaning regimen required to maintain health standards, the waiting area will remain closed.
Please arrive at your scheduled appointment time and remain in your car.
Call or text your therapist to notify them of your arrival.
Your therapist will contact you by phone when they are ready to see you. At that time, you will be asked a series of health questions. With permission from your therapist, you may enter the building.
Social Distancing will be required in this office. Due to the nature of play and sandplay sessions, social distancing can be more difficult to adhere to; I will work to maintain as much distance as possible.
Social Distancing is at a length of 6 feet. Please note this is the length of six rulers, or two-yard sticks.
A line, made from red tape, has been placed on the office floor to help identify this measurement. Your therapist will keep their chair behind this taped line to ensure social distancing occurs.
MASKS: Are required for anyone who is not yet fully vaccinated. If you are fully vaccinated, and have been for at least one month, you are able to remove your mask. Although I am personally fully vaccinated, and have been for a few months, I will still wear my mask due to having young children at home who are not yet able to be vaccinated.
GLOVES: Gloves will be offered for sand sessions but are not required.
If you have any symptoms consistent with COVID, please do not come to the office. Instead, I can accommodate you through tele-health services.
Should you develop symptoms of COVID within two weeks prior to or after your session, please notify Luna Counseling immediately.
